It was very foggy when I got packed and started riding. Im along the edge of the Killbuck Swamp again. The sounds of frogs and other wildlife that make this wetland home seem amplified in the silvery half light of dawn. On a little observation deck out over the marsh I leisurely made my morning coffee as the sun slowly gained strength. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Im staying with Brad and his family tonight. He is the man I met in Massillon and went to Dairy Queen on my way down. He offered to put me up for the night when I was coming back through. Im looking forward to visiting with him and meeting his family. It will make a low mileage day for me around 28 miles and that will be nice too. That is why I’m enjoying a nice relaxing morning and even working on the draft of my blog at 8 am!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started getting serious about riding around 11. I had 16 miles of trail then the rest was on roads. I had told Brad I would be there around 4. In Fredericksburg Will caught up to me at a bench on Main Street. We talked a few minutes and said good bye. He is planning on getting to Cleavland tomorrow and then turning around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Fredericksburg it was road riding until Wilmot where Brad lived. It was rolling hills and all farmland. Really pretty country but it started getting hot. The bank sign in town read 93 degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I got to Brad’s around 3:30. He wasn’t home but his mother who lived one house away was expecting me. Her and her little dog Billy showed me around the house and where the shower was. I opted to set up my hammock in there yard. There was a group of large trees and their shade was too inviting to pass up. After setting up, I hurried over to their pool and jumped in. It was so refreshing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In about 10 miles I will be at Massillon again and then beyond that will be new to me!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
