The weather was going to be in the 90s and I wanted to get as much while it was cool as possible. Also it was all on roads <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/acrossthemapwithmatt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/wp-16298795369725198632745529739171.jpg?w=672&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-766\"\/><figcaption>Backyard campsite <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After leaving around 7 am I rode the 3 miles to the end of the OTET. I biked 578 miles on the Ohio to Erie trail. It is only 320 miles but since I started in Massillon then headed south to Cincinnati I covered a lot of it twice.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" data-attachment-id=\"760\" data-permalink=\"https:\/\/acrossthemapwithmatt.com\/?attachment_id=760\" data-orig-file=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/acrossthemapwithmatt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/wp-16298542263182095889804281716258.jpg?fit=%2C&amp;ssl=1\" data-orig-size=\"\" data-comments-opened=\"1\" data-image-meta=\"[]\" data-image-title=\"wp-16298542263182095889804281716258\" data-image-description=\"\" data-image-caption=\"\" data-large-file=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/acrossthemapwithmatt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/wp-16298542263182095889804281716258.jpg?fit=1024%2C1024&amp;ssl=1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/acrossthemapwithmatt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/wp-16298542263182095889804281716258.jpg?w=672&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-760\"\/><figcaption>Northern terminus <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I liked Cleavland a lot more then Cincinnati. It was less touristy, and  dirtier but more real somehow. Like a house that is lived in versus a show place. One disappointment was it was hard to find a coffee shop! I had 3 cups at my Ws host but that was several hours ago. I found a Dunkin around 10:30 and stopped for a doughnut a latte and a sandwich. It was $13 dollars which seemed unreasonably expensive. I rarely buy food at Dunkin so maybe it is always expensive. It was what I needed for the 62 mile day ahead of me and it really hit the spot. Also most of them had a bike lanes. It was an enjoyable ride today. I don&#8217;t know if it was the pasta last night from my Warmshower host or if I had a tail wind but the 62 miles flew by. I got to Geneva on the Lake at 5 pm. Im staying at a Warmshowers tonight too. The hosts are Pat and Carol and they have a cottage right on the lake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/acrossthemapwithmatt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/wp-16298793406752684019963751827248.jpg?w=672&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-763\"\/><figcaption>Pat and Carol <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m not the only guest staying here though. Lilian started in Seattle. Gabriella started in Idaho. We had sloppy Joe&#8217;s pasta salad, cucumbers tomatoes and zucchini that Pat and Carol grew themselves.
