I just wanted to give a quick update. I have been at my brother’s farm in Tionesta the past several days. It was great to see him and his wife! Coming from Florida I was cold in the PA weather.

As on any farm it was a lot of work but enjoyable. Dragging out red oak logs to be cut into fire wood I thought how strange it seemed to be sitting on a tractor as the icy wind cut through my layers of clothing when 2 days before I had been sitting on a bike sweating in the Florida heat.

Even though I thought, Mr Fergus, with enough hair dye would of made a fine blue ox, Dan thought the International 300U was the better option.

It took a bit of convincing on his part though. After all I even had on the right colored shirt. But he won the discussion by saying if I was going to pretend to be Paul Bunyan then I would have to use an axe and not a chainsaw. And then I would have to wash blue off his cow. Cutting trees with an ax and shampooing a bull seemed like an awful lot of work for just a few pics.

After a lot of work there was always a lot of food. This was plate number two, steak collards and chicken.

The best meal was Emily’s homade chicken Alfredo. It was so good! I ate before I thought to take a picture though.

MERRY CHRISTMASS EVERYONE!
