It was raining when I left the motel. The water front park that was so crowded yesterday is deserted this rainy Monday morning. Other then a man sweeping the sidewalks with a leaf blower, I was the only one there.
I paused at the sign saying 320 miles to cleavland. I have already done around 250 of those miles! Did I really want to head back to Massillon 250 miles away? I guess I did. Without really even thinking I was on my bike following the OTET signs north.

After going through the park I was on roads for 10 miles or so. I rode on the sidewalk most of the way even though traffic wasn’t bad. Around 11, I passed a Dunkin and couldn’t resist.

I got back on the Miami river trail around 1 and rode until 4 pm when I camped. At the campground a family that was leaving early because of the rain gave me eggs and hotdogs. Thats what I cooked for dinner.

While I was cooking a man walked over to me so we could talk. He had started in Cincinnati today too and was going to Cleavland. Brent was from Ireland but came to the States to ride a while. I tried to share the food I had been given but he is a vegetarian. I bet we will see each other quite a bit over the next week. He works for a circus doing puppet shows. His strong accent made some things difficult to know what he was saying. After he left I had to look up the Punch and Judy show. I thought he had said he did the punching Judy show. Google set me straight.
With it being rainy and a Monday the bike path was mostly empty. I didn’t take many pictures or talk to many cyclist today. I do not mind dull days but they make for a short blog entry!
Looks like a nice dinner. I’m enjoying the blog and you certainly have met some interesting people.
Yes it was a nice dinner. Thank you
See, you’re already saving to get back on budget. That was nice that you were given a meal. Hope these rainy days end soon for you. On the other hand, we sure need the rain here. You may encounter storms tomorrow as remnants from hurricane head our way. Be safe.
